Do you want multiple photographers to capture the candid romance of your big day?
With packages designed to accommodate nearly every budget, having multiple photographers at your wedding has never been more affordable. Having multiple photographers will allow you to capture your bridal entrance, your first dance, the cutting of your wedding cake and every memorable part of your wedding from multiple perspectives. With multiple photographers you can also capture unique reaction shots from multiple angles such as capturing your groom’s reaction to seeing you in your dress for the first time, your family and friends looking on during your first dance, and your mother crying as you walk down the aisle.
What if I want 3 photographers or 4 photographers or professional videographers, can you make this happen?
Yes we can. The number of photographers that we send out is completely up to you. Traditionally one photographer will work as the lead while the other photographer captures all of the subtle details of the night such as capturing photos of the guest books, flowers and groomsmen cuff-links.
After the wedding how quickly do you want to receive your fully-edited and enhanced photos?
With our elite team of highly-skilled editors, Epic is now able to offer a standard 2-week turn-around time with every package.
What if your scheduled photographer gets injured or sick on the day of your wedding?
At Epic, we embrace a team approach to professional photography that is very rare within the wedding industry. Because each and every photographer on our staff is trained by our Master Photographer Derek Scott, the success of your wedding is not dependent upon the health of one particular photographer. If one of our photographers gets sick, we have multiple highly-skilled photographers on staff and on reserve so that your “big day” goes on without a hitch.
What is the advantage of hiring a professional photographer?
Hiring an Epic professional photographer will allow you to have the peace of mind in knowing that your photographer will show up on time. An Epic professional photographer will have just the right equipment to capture the romance of your big day. Armed with the experience of having photographed thousands of weddings, our photographers will put you at ease as they guide you through the nuances of your wedding day. Our experienced wedding photographers will be at ease at your wedding. Our production team uses the most modern editing technology that is available today and our production staff produces prints that meet highest professional standards of print quality in the industry. It is very important that you don’t waste your time on your wedding day with an amateur photographer who doesn’t know what they are doing as it relates to wedding photography.
How does one go about hiring a professional wedding photographer?
The first step in hiring a wedding photographer is to inquire via the phone. Although e-mail is a great way to firm up the details of your wedding photography packages, it is very limiting when handling the subtle nuances of hiring the perfect wedding photographer for your big day. On the day of your wedding you do not want to find yourself working with an argumentative troll who happens to take good photos. You want to spend the biggest day of your life working with someone who is conversational, fun and upbeat…and they must also know how to take great photos. Don’t risk spending the biggest day of your life with a photographer who specializes in creating “awkward moments,” book with Epic instead.
How much does a typical wedding photographer cost?
In Tulsa today there are wedding photographers charging a wide range of prices. Some of Tulsa’s most respected (and trusted) individual photographers charge well over $6,000 per wedding, while many newer and part-time photographers charge $500 or less per wedding. At Epic, we are fortunate in that we can provide the highest quality at one of the best price points in the country. With our revolutionary editing technology and photography processes we are able to allow you the best price and the best photos.
Why does every other photography company charge at least $1,500 for each and every package?
The pricing structure of most photographers really just comes down to basic math. If a Tulsa photographer wants to make $78,000 annually then they will charge $1,500 per event. With 52 weekends per year as their availability they can only make this amount of money if they charge at least $1,500 per event. If they are sick for a weekend they do not get paid. If they take vacation for a weekend, they do not get paid. If they get injured or sick, no one is there to cover for them. At Epic we are not bound by any of these limitations. At Epic we have a crew of 20 photographers who conduct numerous weddings per weekend. Photography is their full-time job. We have editors that edit 10 weddings each per week. Editing is their full-time job. If our photographers get sick, we have them covered and we have you covered. At Epic we are the only high-quality and scalable photography company in the country today.
How much time will the photographer spend at my wedding?
Really the amount of time that we spend with you at your wedding is entirely up to you. Most brides prefer for us to begin shooting their wedding 2 hours before the ceremony. Most brides prefer for us to conclude after we have photographed their “grand exit.” But the amount of time that we spend with you is always up to you. With each and every package that we book we schedule a time for you to meet with our wedding planner who will work with you to provide you with custom-tailored package options that will accommodate your needs and your budget.
What about getting a photo album?
Although brides have traditionally wanted to order photo albums with their package, at Epic we let you determine what you want to order before and after your wedding. If you want a package that includes an album, print credit or just the basic photos we have a package for you. Give us a call today and we will custom tailor a package for you.
Who chooses which of my wedding pictures will go in my wedding album?
Most brides and grooms we work with generally prefer to decide which photos will ultimately go into the final album. However, if choosing photos is not your forte and if you would prefer for our highly-skilled photo editors to select the images that go into your final album they can choose them for you. The ultimate goal here is to make sure that you leave with a photo album that is inspiring and epic.
Do I want film or digital photography?
Do you want to ride in a car or ride on a horse? It is true that some people would prefer to ride on a horse. Those people are Amish. However, for most non-Amish Americans riding in a car is their travel method of choice. In the world of photography, most non-Amish Americans prefer to use digital photography. Digital photography allows our editors to turn incredible wedding photos into works of art. If you want a fashionable editing style, we can make it happen. If you want your photos to look “vintage,” we can make that happen. We can do literally anything you can imagine with your wedding photos. However, film is very limiting and thus most non-Amish Americans prefer digital photography…No offense intended to the Amish Photography community.
What can I do to keep the photographer from becoming the center focus of my wedding day?
At Epic our event planners meet with each and every bride before we ever schedule a photography package. Thus, you will be insured that we will not send out a photographer who has a completely different idea of how your wedding should go vs. your vision (which is the only vision that truly matters). At Epic we view our photographers as facilitators. Their job is to lead the way through the agenda that you designed. It is not their job to lead you through an agenda they have created in their own mind.
What if I want copies of my photos 2 years from now?
If you want copies of your photos 2 years from now you are not alone. With our new rights release package options we can now actually give you full rights to each and every wedding photo that was taken at your wedding. Thus, you can print your photos whenever you want and wherever you want.
